LUCKY NUMBERS 101: How to Take Your First Bet

1. Visit the Lucky Fish Website

Start by visiting the Lucky Fish website or mobile app and logging in to your account. If you don't already have an account, simply register by following the quick sign-up process. Once logged in, navigate to the Lucky Numbers section to access the available draws and betting markets. Make sure that you have funds in your account.

2. Select a Country and Draw

Lucky Fish offers access to over 10,000 Lucky Numbers draws from countries around the world every day. Browse the available options and select the country and specific draw you'd like to bet on. You can choose draws based on your preferences, odds, or draw times that suit you best. In the screenshots below, we will use the UK Free Lottery as an example.

3. Choose the Market You Want to Bet On

Once you’ve chosen your draw, you’ll see a range of betting markets to pick from. These markets decide how your bet will be settled and what kind of outcome you’re predicting. Take a moment to explore the options and choose the one that best fits your strategy and how much risk you’re comfortable with. You can check out the available markets and odds below. Note that some draws give you an option to choose a bonus ball.

It’s important to understand how odds work before placing a bet. In simple terms, odds reflect both the likelihood of an outcome and the potential payout. The higher the odds, the less likely that outcome is considered to be, but it also means a bigger potential reward if your prediction is correct. 4. Make a Selection on the Number(s) You Want to Bet On

In this step, choose the lucky number or numbers you would like to include in your bet. Depending on the market you've selected, you may be able to pick a single number or multiple numbers. Double-check your selections before proceeding to ensure they match the outcome you're hoping to predict. In the screenshot below, we’ve selected four numbers. You can pick any four numbers between 1 and 75.

5. Select Your Stake and Place Bet

Once you’ve picked your numbers, simply enter the amount you’d like to bet. As you do, your potential payout will automatically update based on your selected market and stake, so you can clearly see what you stand to win. Take a moment to review everything, and when you’re happy with your selections, confirm your stake and submit your bet for the upcoming draw. In our case, the stake is R10, and the potential payout is R500 000.

Odds are easy to understand once you know the basics. To calculate your potential winnings, simply multiply your stake by the odds (price). If you place a R10 bet on four balls with odds of 50 000, you would calculate it like this:

R10 × 50 000 = 500 000. So, your total potential return would be R500 000 if your bet wins.
